Interior Painting Services
We offer comprehensive indoor painting services, from the walls and ceilings to windows, baseboards, and trim. We take great care in painting your space accurately; including the parts that require patience and time to get straight without accidentally marking up the nearby wall.
While accuracy and aesthetic appeal are aspects we focus on, we make time a priority as well. We understand every moment counts when you don't have access to an area of your home. That's why we work quickly without sacrificing quality, getting you back to living in your home as usual as soon as possible. That's especially the case when we're working on a bathroom or kitchen.

What to Expect When Painting Your Home's Interior
The first part of the process consists of meeting with you. During this part of paint projects, we ask about details, such as the colors you’ve decided on, what areas are being painted, and several other details that help us determine how to proceed with your project. Then the project’s timeline can be determined and scheduled.
Next comes the actual days to perform any repairs, prep the area, and start painting. If there is any damage to your walls, such as holes from nails or small cracks, we take great care in repairing those spots before painting. During the prepping time, we will place drop cloths, builders’ paper, or plastic sheeting to protect your floors and belongings. Cabinets and other components of your home will be covered with these materials as well, carefully taped off and sealed for protection. We remove outlet cover plates in order to paint behind them and create a seamless look, as well as reinstalling them when we are finished. Once we paint around those sections and are ready to move on to the next area, we'll tape off other sections as necessary to be as tidy as possible.
During the preparation process, we can help move any large furniture that could get in the way. If there are items we can't move, we place protective drop cloths over them in case of an accidental drip. The prep also includes removing any outlet and light switch covers. Our goal during this process is to keep everything in your home safe. And it also helps us paint even lines that give the final project a clean appearance.
We then start painting and take our time to provide high-quality results. Once we paint everything you requested, we clean up completely. We place your furniture and any other items we moved back in their proper places while throwing away any paint-covered cloths/sheets and picking up our tools.
You can expect this process to take a few days or longer. Specifically, it depends on the space's size or the number of rooms we're completing. When we need to repair items before painting, this can play a role in the timing of the project. When we assess the project, we provide you with an estimate of how many hours or days it'll take.
We'll provide you with a quote before we begin. We conduct a comprehensive inspection of the project, taking into account the square footage and any prep work involved, before quoting you. Other factors may also impact the price, which we'll incorporate into the quote. There's no obligation to continue with us if you're not content with our pricing.
Repairing Damage to Trim or Walls
Before we begin your project, we thoroughly inspect every aspect of it. We identify where you have any damage and inform you of your repair options. Our team member will explain the cost and what's entailed in each repair to help you decide the best option for you if more than one is available.
After we establish a course of action, we make any necessary fixes before we begin painting. For instance, this may include drywall repair for large fixes. Sometimes, the most suitable option for small, less serious damage is to patch the area. We’re able to pole sand walls, and plaster cracks and holes. We also utilize caulk and putty trim for a polished look.
Here at Paint the DMV, we pride ourselves on our excellent care for your home and its appearance. We’re the Northern Virginia painters you can rely on for quick, clean service.
